Kaflur Foods
Privacy

Plain answers about your data.

The short version: no third-party trackers, no advertising pixels, no cookies for visitors, nothing sold to anyone. We collect what the forms ask for, we run our own private visit counter, and we delete on a schedule. The details are below, in order.

01

Who we are

Kaflur Foods is a Tamil Nadu–based food manufacturer and infrastructure partner for modern food brands, operating this website at www.kaflur.com.

For anything in this policy — a question, a correction, a deletion request — write to support@kaflur.com or call/WhatsApp +91 800 800 7850. We respond to privacy requests the way we respond to everything else: within one business day.

02

What we collect, and why

Browsing analytics. We run our own first-party analytics — no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no third-party scripts of any kind. When you browse, we record the pages you visit, how long you stay, how far you scroll, the page that referred you, your device class (mobile, tablet, desktop) and your approximate location (country, region, city — derived from your IP address by our hosting provider; we do not store the IP address itself). To count returning visits, a random identifier is kept in your browser’s local storage. It contains nothing about you.

Enquiries. When you submit the contact form we collect your name, email, phone number, business type, requirement and message — that’s the point of the form. Be aware of one thing many sites do quietly and we’d rather say plainly: the enquiry is linked to the random analytics identifier above, which means once you enquire, we can see which pages that identifier visited before and after. We use this to understand what prospective customers care about — nothing else.

Job applications. The careers form collects your name, email, phone, area of interest, portfolio link, message and CV. Your CV is never stored on web-accessible storage — it travels only as an attachment to our recruitment mailbox.

Newsletter. Your email address, used only to send you The Kaflur Journal. Every issue carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.

03

Cookies and local storage

This site sets no cookies for visitors. None — not for analytics, not for advertising, not for preferences.

The only cookie on the entire site is a sign-in cookie for Kaflur staff accessing the internal admin dashboard. Unless you work here, you will never receive it.

What we do use is browser local storage: two random identifiers (one per browser, one per visit) that let our first-party analytics count visits without cookies and without knowing who you are. You can remove them at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings — the site works identically without them.

04

Where your data is processed

We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run the site: Vercel (hosting — it derives the approximate location from your IP), Neon (our database), Zoho Mail (email delivery) and Google Sheets (where job applications and the newsletter list are recorded). Their servers may be located outside India.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or pass it to anyone beyond these processors. There is no cross-site tracking of any kind.

05

How long we keep it

Browsing analytics: 24 months, then deleted automatically.

Enquiries: 36 months from submission, then deleted automatically — long enough to serve a slow-moving B2B conversation, no longer.

Job applications and CVs: up to 12 months in our recruitment mailbox, then deleted.

Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.

06

Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (and, where it applies to you, equivalent law elsewhere), you can ask us: what data we hold about you, to correct it, or to erase it. You can withdraw any consent you’ve given — unsubscribing from the newsletter is one click, and everything else is one email.

Send requests to support@kaflur.com. Our grievance contact is the same address; we acknowledge within one business day and resolve as the law requires.

07

What this site is not

kaflur.com is a business-to-business site. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect children’s data.

08

Changes to this policy

When the site’s data practices change, this page changes with them, and the date below changes too. We don’t alter data practices silently.
